Najaf Centre Project: Transportation for over 300 children to Receive Hospital Treatment

The Najaf Centre for the Welfare of People with Disabilities (ICF charity member) is awaiting a funding for a project to provide transport for children in need. Without something as simple and basic as a minivan, the physiotherapy sessions available to over 300 children will go to waste, and they will be left to suffer long term physical damage and pain, simply because their parents/carers are too poor or unable to take them to the Hospital.

To solve this problem all that is needed is to hire a 22 seater van and driver to escort a total of 312 children throughout the year from the Centre for the Welfare Rights of People with Disabilities to the Sadr Hospital in Najaf.

We plan to take 20 children per day (each child attending 2 sessions a week) for 6 days a week for a whole year! This project will help 312 children receive the treatment they desperately need

Cost of project: £16,000 per annum
