Widow needs a helping hand

Karbala Branch staff visited the widow Hanan K. A. who lives in a housing slum area, together with her five children.  They live in a house, given to them by an charitable person.

Since the death of the father, the family has been suffering from their difficult living conditions.  The father earned a daily wage, but after he died, they were left without a breadwinner.  They have no source of income to provide them with a decent life except for a small social welfare benefit, which does not cover their needs.

This family needs:

• Ongoing orphan sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per month for each orphan (x5).
• A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker. 
• A donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy a boiler. 
• A donation of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) to buy a water pump.

The family, through “Al-Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity”, appeals to all charitable brothers to provide a helping hand to them.
