Needy mother of six appeals for support

Staff from Najaf Branch visited the family of the widow, Hameeda A. A.  They found that she and her six orphans live under harsh conditions in a house that lacks the most basic necessities of living. This family have no breadwinner.  One of her children left school in order to work and help his mother with their living expenses. The rest of the orphans continue to study.

The family receives a social benefit of 122,000 IQD (approx. £75) per month.  This is not enough to meet the transportation expenses and school fees for the children.  Apart from this meagre income, Hameeda relies on the help and financial support she receives from charitable people, but this is insufficient to meet the family’s living needs.

To help this family, they need:

• Ongoing orphan sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per month for each orphan (x6).
• A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £125) to buy a cooker.
• A donation of 350,000 IQD (approx. £215) to buy a refrigerator. 
• A donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £60) to buy an oil heater.
• Ongoing monthly family sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) to secure the family necessary needs above through the program of providing supplies

The widow's family appeals to charitable people to help provide for their needs.
